This was taken from a spot near by when I was trying to get some image of an osprey. This is using my new P&S a Lumix ZS80.

This is a well-exposed sunset capture with an impressive display of clouds. The sunlight does not overwhelm the rest of the scene and the silhouetted power lines provide added interest. Since the present image is largely a study in cloud patterns, you might try cropping in towards the center of interest: sun, poles and clouds immediately above them. I agree with Mark's comment about cropping. Less inclined to like the power poles, especially the one that seems to be center of the image. I find my eye distracted. And feel the power poles are infringing on a natural scene. I like the good control of light conditions. Posted: 08/23/2019 15:11:00
