About the Image(s)

Nikon D7000, 105mm Nikkor macro lens, ISO 200, F 5.6, 1/500 sec. I used a texture for the background by Flypaper, as the background was not attractive

To my eye, this is a beautiful composition of a delicate blossom. Especially enjoy the back petal softly visible through the front one. I might suggest getting the tip in a bit sharper focus next time and perhaps make the negative space smaller just to compare.   Posted: 03/08/2019 09:17:48

Nice image. It looks like just one spot in the middle was in focus. It is a nice image though.   Posted: 03/19/2019 22:57:57

Well-done selective-focus macro with sharpness in just the right places! A real asset to the image is the droplet at the pink petal tip which stands out by reflecting the green underside of the petal. I agree with Christina that you might try reducing negative background space, by cropping in very slightly from left and bottom.   Posted: 03/25/2019 13:37:46
