About the Image(s)

The image informations is as followed:- ISO 200 f5.0 Speed :- 1/125 sec. Camera :- Sigma dp 1 Quattro.

How I did it.

The image was taken while I am travelling to Ho Chi Min City. It was along the main street where I find the fruits had many variety of colours then I started to bring out my Sigma dp 1 Quattro which is a19mm lens (in 35mm it is a 28mm). I find it very useful for street photography. The colours is rich and what I see is what I get. No manipulation

of colours whatsoever is needed. Hopefully, this image is like by everyone.

Once again, you have demonstrated a very nice eye for all things photographic. I love the storytelling on this particular image. The colors are really remarkable. To my eye, the images very slightly overexposed. If I can convince you to do some postprocessing in Lightroom, you could bring this down very nicely. However, I would strongly suggest that you might want to consider bracketing your shots in the future to eliminate this problem. See VF. Nice Job!!!   Posted: 06/10/2018 11:27:13

I like the storytelling also, but there is so much in this picture ! I would have focused in a lot more on the lady with the white hat and pink shirt, keep the umbrella in the picture, and put her at the left third area of the image.
Cropping it down would make it easier to take in and still tell a great story. Also I do think it's overexposed and the colors look a little off, maybe for the same reason - the exposure.   Posted: 06/10/2018 15:42:31

Hi John & Donna,
I think probably is the monitor of the colour calibration as I had printed out onto a photographic paper semi gloss as well as I had also did it in HDR Metal plate using Chromaluxe material. The size I had printed is much bigger like 11"x14" & it is brilliant in its colour. So that's why it is important to have a standard colour calibration in our monitor as each & everyone had a different set of colour viewing. That my opinion as my company does photographic printing in my service line for our customers here in Singapore. Thank you.   Posted: 06/11/2018 00:58:04

Nice image. I would crop from the left to highlight the right side. I also think that if you had moved to the left and narrowed your focus the image would have been better. Increasing saturation would also be good. The market in Ho Chi Min City looks the same as it did in 1970.   Posted: 06/16/2018 19:40:02

A very nice image of the market in Ho Chi Min City. I like all the colors. The suggestions that have been made will help make the lady with the pink coat the focus of the image.   Posted: 06/18/2018 16:26:50

Thank you Rick Krebs and Diana Duffey for your comments.   Posted: 06/18/2018 22:30:54

I think you have several excellent pictures in the shot.
You have too much going on and I can'tr findone center of interest.
I think there are many excellent pictures within .   Posted: 06/26/2018 06:24:49

This image is richly detailed and for a photo which was not manipulated it does have vibrant colors. I agree that there are smaller scenes within this photo that through cropping would stand on their own - such as separate images centered on the woman in pink or on the 2 persons at upper left.   Posted: 06/27/2018 19:49:16

Hi Mark Aksoy, during my street photography shots I had taken separately as what you had mentioned but I can't be putting that into the groups with two separate images. I know what you mean but I placed it as a general point for street photography purposes. As for the vibrancy of the colors, well I did mention before it depends on the individual monitor & sizes of the image we had placed in the group as we are only given not more than 1mb file size, we can do anything much & moreover I had also did by having 1024 pixels in width & the rest is my proportion only.   Posted: 06/27/2018 21:16:44
