About the Image(s)
I'm working on various B&W photos for an up and coming show. These are Blue Winged Teals that were wading in the shallows. Shot was handheld. The light was not in my favor and the head of the male (viewer's right) is very dark to start with so I thought B&W would bring out a bit more detail. I did my normal process start in LR and move to Nik's Silver EFEX. I used one of the presets but adjusted to my liking then I moved to Viveza to soften the background (which didn't have a lot of detail because the water was fairly still) with control points. I like how it turned out so I'm considering using it. Any thoughts or improvement possibilities?? Thanks!

I love the result you obtained. This image should be a winner for you. It is extremely well done. I used to have Nik's filters and lost them when I replaced my computer...must reimport them one of these days.   Posted: 02/14/2021 12:42:57
