About the Image(s)

I shot this beauty in Canada when I visited in 2018. Although, I like the color image too when I converted into mono in PS with my own method it gave me a different charm in mono details. I further toned down other distractions around. Any comments for improvement are appreciated.

You did a very nice job, with the black and white image, my only suggestion is to crop some of the stem. it's just to long on the back and white version, on the original color flower, with the green leaves on the left side, it seems Ok   Posted: 09/13/2020 14:15:22

nice image good editing to a monochrome. I do agree with Stuart Caine a bit to much stem.   Posted: 09/21/2020 19:54:04

I like the color better. I would remove about the lower third of the stem. I also see a lot of noise in both photos which could be removed.   Posted: 09/22/2020 11:24:01
