December 2019 - Beautiful Beginning

About the Image(s)

Caught this sunrise in front of a hotel in SC. Thought the reflections in the water were just spectacular. Camera was on a tripod, shot at iso 200, f9 with a Tamron 15-30mm lens. Little adjustments in LR, cropped and straightened.

Hi Debbie, The colors in this image are outstanding. Beautiful. I like the image a lot. If it were mine and I had a great deal of time, I would clone out some of the branches, mid frame along the left side. That would open up the center of the view. I especially like the reflections of the clouds and the little diagonal grouping of "weeds" about a third of the way into the frame.   Posted: 12/16/2019 08:47:32

Nice colors and interesting scene. I would like much of the foreground to not be in the picture.   Posted: 12/21/2019 13:45:18

Debbie-You shot this image at the right time. It's just beautiful and I like that but you could improve by copping and making it verticle image by using 2 L shape guides eliminating branches around and then cloning out extra branches coming into frame. I think in this way you will find your image much impressive.

The colors are fantastic. I like Priscilla would like to see less of the branches on the left.   Posted: 12/31/2019 17:10:44
