About the Image(s)

Here is my July photo, I took this photo at a seven ponds nature center. The tree swallows are to fast to catch in mid flight. So I set my camera up at the nesting box. I shot this at f/10, a shutter speed of 1/3200, and ISO at 2200. I did very minor Adjustments in lightroom.

WOW!! Wonderful capture. They are very fast little birds. I wouldn't change anything on this. You should consider putting this one into competition! I'm in bird heaven this month between you and Jesse!!!   Posted: 07/17/2017 08:48:09

wow, great action shot of mom and baby. To be picky I would like to see her eye along with a catch light.
Obviously you set the camera up right! High ISO and high shutter speed.'Well done!   Posted: 07/17/2017 09:32:43

Allen-Good catch on time and it's perfect shot except I feel you have an extra space on right side which needs to be cropped and crop it to make a square image. If it looks better do it.

Yes I do understand your comment about the space on the right. The original shot was wider and this is about as far a crop I could do without starting to lose detail in the birds.   Posted: 07/24/2017 16:26:14

Excellent stop action shot. The chick in the nesting box with his mouth open and mom in flight bringing food is not a common photo. Good idea to set up the camera and wait for the action which you captured amazingly. Good focus and background.   Posted: 07/23/2017 20:22:33

Very nice capture including the action of feeding the youngster. I would like to see you zoomed in even a little bit closer.   Posted: 07/28/2017 09:50:13
