About the Image(s)
I pretty much started photography by taking dancing photos years back and I still do, for amateur dancing groups and events at local community. This is a photo taken last year for a local ballet performance. I process all my raw images in Lightroom then slightly touch up in Photoshop.

A most unusual composition and background. Although the 'red' color looks great overall , maybe I would tone it down on the dancer??   Posted: 01/20/2020 14:47:35
Thank you all for the comments. Points well taken.   Posted: 01/21/2020 05:25:52
A nice single figure that attracts full attention. The reflection at the bottom adds to the overall. I suggest a crop from the top of the image wich only adds dark non-essential space. Welcome to our group.   Posted: 01/20/2020 14:47:44

For me this is an unexpected composition of a dancer. I like the movement of the legs and feet and would like to see more context of the event. Welcome Jianfu.   Posted: 01/21/2020 14:09:59
Thank you, Sir! This photo is part of individual shows after group dancing from a local ballet learning center. Not sure if it's allowed or appropriate to post link here, but here are type of things I capture:

I feel I can capture actions pretty well but have a lot to learn in composition, color correction, etc. : )

Interesting pose. I like the reflection in the floor. Most of the image is dominated by a single tone (relieved somewhat by her dress); was this the effect of the stage lighting? I too agree with the suggestion of the crop... and also don't crop the figure at left (statue or backdrop) so that his arm is chopped off; this could also serve the move the dancer off-center (see below), resulting in a less static composition.   Posted: 01/26/2020 02:05:38
