Snehendu, Fado (fate in english) is a type of Portuguese singing, originated in the 1800's in Lisbon, is renowned for its expressive and profoundly melancholic character. You have captured the expression on the singer's face. The musicians are all minding their own business. The image is sharp, and the colors are well managed. I think that the singer's face is a little too bright, probably caused by the flash light. Good timing.   Posted: 01/03/2020 08:44:23

The singer's expression is most dramatic and is such a contrast from the bored look of the musicians. Good capture!!   Posted: 01/20/2020 14:42:46

I like all the complimentary lines. The curved walls of the stage, the placement of the band and the roundness of her face, bring the viewer to focus on the fado experience.   Posted: 01/21/2020 14:06:21

The concentration on the singer's face, the gesture with her hands (it might be politically incorrect to call her fat - I'm not sure what the appropriate term is these days... laterally well-endowed?) and the concentration of the musicians are all positives. Not too fond of the flash look.   Posted: 01/26/2020 01:38:31

I would love to hear the soundtrack to this wonderful image. The concentration of the performers is so well captured that the image almost creates that soundtrack. Very nice!   Posted: 01/26/2020 04:43:08
