About the Image(s)

This image was taken after sunset. The wind was up and so I set up for f.22, ISO 100, 30sec to blur the water. Minor adjustments were made in LR.

Someone in Group 4 also submitted a shot of this. Have a look. Suggest you comment to each other.   Posted: 06/04/2018 13:56:28

Hi Marcus. You have a super shot of this iconic building with excellent evening light. I like the way the lights inside show up the interior of the building. My image in Group 04 was taken in the hard light of midday. Looks like I'll have to go back! My shot was taken on 20th May and I am still working through the images having only just got home. When were you there?   Posted: 06/05/2018 04:15:09

HI Guy, we visited Valencia in early May to photograph the Arts and Science Centre. We have amazing images of the various buildings and I can only recommend that everyone add Valencia to their bucket list.   Posted: 06/06/2018 20:27:56

If you crop the bottom out, it looks like a sureal monster. You will then have an eyebrow effect, an eye and a bottom jaw,
especially if you also crop the lightened bits at bottom left and the lamp standards.   Posted: 06/14/2018 11:07:24

Also visited this iconic sight in the past year . You have done a great job in showing it off with the dust lighting. Maybe tone down the hot light on the left side.   Posted: 06/14/2018 14:43:57

Marcus..very dramatic lighting on the building and this adds to the shot. I like the details of the foreground balanced by the long exposure of the smooth pool. I also like the human element of the man standing on the bridge which gives us a sense of scale. .   Posted: 06/20/2018 05:01:33

Excellent composition, colors, and lighting.... what more can one expect in a great image? Consider toning down the sky a bit to add golden glow on the sky.   Posted: 06/24/2018 21:01:29
