About the Image(s)

In Sept. 20 2012 the Space Shuttle Endeavour sitting atop a 747 airplane, the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft. It has a final voyage and they flew over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Endeavour made its final landing at LAX in Los Angeles, and will be transported to its permanent home at the California Science Center. We were exciting to photography this historical moment. I use Nikon D800 with 70-300 mm lens, set at f/8, 1/1000. I attached one closer image for reference.

Really great image with the Golden Gate bridge and the space shuttle airplane in a good position for composition. Thanks for sharing the historical moment.   Posted: 10/15/2020 09:27:41

Wow Tony! Great capture! The story might be better told by cropping off the right third of the photo. To my taste it is over-saturated. But amazing!!!   Posted: 10/15/2020 18:29:35

Great capture of this historic moment. I think I agree with Barbara as far as cropping off some on the right side. Also I think it would be less distracting if you remove the other plain that is above the Shuttle. I would be happy to have this image in my portfolio, nice work.   Posted: 10/17/2020 11:46:19

Really nice Tony. Thank you for sharing. Technically your image is sharp and in focus throughout. To my taste it is a bit too contrasty and saturated. But thats me. I agree with Barbara's suggestion to crop the right third to draw more attention to your subjects.   Posted: 10/18/2020 15:55:21

Great capture. I too would would crop it in from the right. I think that it takes away from the focus on the shuttle. I agree with the others about the saturation, a tiny bit too much for my eye. A great capture of a historic moment,   Posted: 10/19/2020 15:40:32
