About the Image(s)
I teach a photo class as a fund raiser for my camera club. The River Otter has been around for quite a while but is rarely seen. I took my photo class there at 7 AM recently and the otter put on Quite a show! It was drakes so the is 3200 ISO. I am fighting grain but with the Canon L 100-400, I did get acceptable images and so did my students. Now to get rid of the noise. I have use NIK’s define 2 and PhotoShop Noise reduction

Love it! I even like the negative space all around the Otter. It gives a nice sence of depth and openness.   Posted: 03/15/2019 15:29:16

Noise does not seem to be a problem, with this smaller image. I like your border effect, it can help with the black background of this website. Members in Europe would like the space around the otter as they really like to see the elements around the subject. The otter is nice and sharp, with a blurred background.   Posted: 03/21/2019 20:14:14

I agreed with you!   Posted: 03/30/2019 03:40:39
It is a very nice picture. I think the negative space provides a sense of perspective and perhaps a bit of concern for the otter who is terribly exposed in that situation. The blurred background is very nice. I did not find noise an issue.   Posted: 03/27/2019 11:02:44
