About the Image(s)

Attached is my January 2021 submittal. Details below:
Shot with Canon 70D, 105mm macro lens, f9.0, ISO800, 1/640s. I keep honeybees, and find it fun to capture their behaviors. These two honeybees are depositing nectar which they will turn to honey. Minimal processing- just your basics.
Happy holidays!

Hi, Tracy,
I like the action you caught of the two Honeybees. The heads of the bees are sharp and show a lot of interesting detail. I find the honeycombs are not so sharp and detract from the main action. I tried a crop of the image to concentrate on the heads of the bees as you did not need as much background to convey the behavior.
I like it.

Hi Tracy,
I love the image's brightness and the color. I like how sharp the bees are, you can even see the fine hairs on their body's. I agree that the honey comb is not as sharp, however I think that it serves as a great background for the story it tells. I enjoy this image very much.   Posted: 01/16/2021 12:50:52
