About the Image(s)

On a fresh & cold early morning during our Macro strolling, I found this bug resting on a leaf with bright colors and fresh water droplets. He gave me enough time to click a decent shot and I happily moved looking for other subjects. I am sorry, I did not put effort to remember the id of this bug. Anyone who knows which bug is this?

Gears Used:
Nikon D7200, Sigma 105mm macro lens, Godox TT685 Flash with DIY diffuser

Exif:
1/60, f10, ISO200, 105mm (effectively @158mm since used on a crop body), weighted avg. metering

Hi, Madhusudan,
Wonderful capture! The bright orange color of the bug captures your attention immediately. The three droplets of water are a great added feature. It is very sharp throughout. My only suggestion is to crop a little closer to eliminate the dark area at the top and the lighter spots on the lower right.
I like this image very much.   Posted: 10/10/2019 18:19:38

Super shot! I'm not a great fan of insect pictures, but the colour and interest in the drops makes me like this a lot.

I think Janet's crop is an improvment; perhaps I'd have cropped a bit less as I like context in a photo nowadays, but getting the bug a little more to the left I like. I don't know what the zig-zaggy stuff behind the bug on the left edge is, but I would clone it out.   Posted: 10/15/2019 08:34:36

This image is outstanding! I actually think your composition is fine as it is - don't mess with that! I do agree with Stuart about the stuff to the left of the beetle as it's somewhat distracting. Otherwise, you have a powerful image! d:¬{D   Posted: 10/15/2019 17:18:31
