This 24-image stack is from a leftover Valentine's Day bouquet that was marked down half. Toned with ACR, then extracted from the original, added a black background, cleaned up the unsightly blemishes and then some selective dodging and burning. Suggestions?

Tom,
I like your blossom very much. Shows wonderful detail, coloring. Looks good against the black background. Very sharp. I would not change anything.
Good job.

Super picture, Tom. Despite the low resolution we have to use here, you seem to have got it very sharp.
How about a 2 px white border to clarify the black edge?   Posted: 03/08/2019 17:32:27

Great job on this stack Tom. Very sharp with nice detail. There is guite a bit of glare on the upper left petal which a polarizer would have taken care very easily. A polarizer would have also made the color pop more. With three sides cropped into the petals I would go ahead and crop the right side to put the stamens and pistal in the sweet spot. I also think it would give the image more impact. I like the composition with the flower coming out of the lower left corner.
I think you doing great stacks. If you would Tom, when doing your Helicon stacks, which method A, B, or C are you using? Also what amount of radius and smoothing are you using?

Radius 8 & Smoothing 4. Usually use Method B, alternately A.   Posted: 03/08/2019 23:32:36
Beautiful click Tom, good details , nice capture
As Stuart Sir said, you can add a 2 px white background for separating website background, otherwise viewer's eyes will keep search the border line.
In my personal opinion , there is 2 dark spot in the lower right petal, which is distracting in the second view. you can clone it easily.

Impressed by the imatge, Tom. The original one as previous comments, the confussion with the end of your imatge and the Black background, also the green spot at the leaf on the right. The new crop proposed by Dick I think solves the problems.   Posted: 03/27/2019 04:27:50
