About the Image(s)

This was taken in a park in Hong Kong; the original was a scanned negative. I used Luminar NEO to enhance the image with the basic tools. I then used PS to isolate the subjects then darken the BG.

A great candid capture. You've done a great job with the negative and the background works very well. I might have gone for a square cut and got rid of the handbag but that is only very minor.   Posted: 05/03/2022 08:03:32

This is a fun image and your title is appropriate. I agree with Candia about cropping out the handbag. For me you have overdone the background, I would like to see it a little sharper and not as blurred.   Posted: 05/04/2022 05:18:01

Oh, I do like these snaps of life, one can read so much into them. The only change i would think of making is to crop out the lady's purse on the RH side.
Wonderful title!

Richard, to me your title makes this image. Without it, I would find that it simply leaves me questioning what's going on. But, the title turns it into a story. Nice.

Wonderful capture. The body language tells such a great story. I would crop out the handbag. Their faces seem a little soft...surprisingly because the geometric patterns in their clothes look sharper. Maybe its the contrast between the two. I ran the image through Topaz Denoise which does some gentle sharpening and think this helps.   Posted: 05/11/2022 00:47:43
