This image is part of the Pembrokeshire coastline from a trip we took to Wales.

What a beautiful sceen. Makes me want to be there. Foreground interest is great and there is so much colour in the sea that it balances the headland. The colours knock my eyes out though and I felt the image looked like it had a lot of dehaze saturating the colours and creating an unnatural sharpness in the clouds. The rocks look crunchy. I did have a go at it just desaturating and adding some blur except for the foreground.   Posted: 11/01/2021 22:02:32

Thanks, Mark, it does need some desaturating but I'm sure about the blurring in the foreground. I do need to have another go at it.   Posted: 11/15/2021 20:33:13

As Mark says it is a beautiful scene but for me you have over processed it. Could we have a copy of the original to work on?   Posted: 11/02/2021 12:21:10

When you have an original Rick do send it to me with the finished image and I will post it on the RH side of the page, we do like to have originals whenever possible.   Posted: 11/15/2021 12:56:43

Thanks, Dave, this is probably what it really looked like. I will use your suggestions to play around with. Good job.   Posted: 11/15/2021 20:24:12

The colours are brilliant and if it is over processed I can only see it as an enhancement. I would crop the sky a little in order not to have the picture cut so deliberately in half.   Posted: 11/15/2021 13:05:52

Richard, this is a spectacular location and photograph. Since you posted the original, I played with it a bit using input from earlier comments. As Barbara mentioned, I cropped the sky. And, as Mark and David suggested, I desaturated the entire image a bit. Then, I tried adjusting the lighting slightly. Your thoughts?
