About the Image(s)

This was taken on a trip to Wales. I did some cropping and removed some of the annoying things such as wires and telephone poles. I then used NIK's Color Efex Pro to bring out some more detail

I really love this image, to my eye everything is perfect. Others may think is is a bit oversaturated, but not I. The white flowers on the R and Thomas David's tombstone on the L, with the small red bouquet, gives marvellous balance and needless to say the path leads one's eye right to the church. I couldn't add a thing to better it.Well done Rich !

Richard, this is a fantastic capture. It definitely makes me want to see Wales! Nicely done!

On my monitor the color balance didn't seem quite right and the saturation seemed just a bit heavy. Thus, I took the liberty of playing with it a bit. Your thoughts?

Oliver, thank you for your comments and your re-work of my image; I'm rather torn between yours and mine. I did want to warm it up as I felt my original was a little bleak although I may have over done it.
Barbara, I do appreciate your comments and I am pleased to know that you feel it was just right.

After looking more closely at the sky I do agree with Nick that Oliver's sky is better, but it's small point on this lovely image..   Posted: 07/06/2018 05:43:40

The entire scene is very photographic. he Nik filter did a very good job of bringing out the details. The path does lead one right to the church. The color of the sky does not fit my eye and I like the new sky that was put in by Oliver.   Posted: 07/05/2018 21:39:06

To me the color cast that you have for this scenic of green match my idea of the Irish country side and I might have cropped some off of the bottom possibly up to the headstone on the right side. I love the path that lead you to the church and the composition is well done for me.   Posted: 07/18/2018 16:30:32
