Striking colors... I love the red/orange against the greens of the trees and grass. And, your focus and exposure are right on! Well done.

I suggest cropping out the player who's cut off by the right margin. Also, a little of the top and left could be cropped to intensify the focus on the young man in the center.   Posted: 06/06/2018 19:24:50

Thank you!

I did record it.. I did not crop the left side because I wanted to portray that the net was the prize he was aiming for.. But I did make the crop at the top and right..   Posted: 06/07/2018 08:08:33

Good point about the net being the prize. And, that's emphasized by the fact that the boy's eyes are focusing on it. Very nice.   Posted: 06/07/2018 08:54:21

Great shot Phil , this type of image does exceedingly well in PJ. I do agree with Oliver that the be RH side is better cropped. I can see the point of leaving the net alone and it would be very understandable to lacrosse players but I think to the photographic eye it jars. Nevertheless I would leave it in as a point of exactness, adding to the storytelling of the image.   Posted: 06/07/2018 09:22:44

Nice action shot; I agree with the others that the right side should be cropped. Even though some the outer edges are not in good focus; you have the main subject very sharp.   Posted: 06/18/2018 13:51:03
