About the Image(s)

Another table top but with the LH leaf out of the frame and the BG unattractive I added a BG from my files and added a shadow and a frame.

I like the shadow and the background taken out. Only suggestion I can think of is that it looks like it is floating in air. Maybe if it looked like it was siting on something it would be better. You are really handy with photoshop to be able to do what you did.   Posted: 02/04/2017 09:53:29

Yes Joyce I thought of that but afraid my photography skills are dragging this month as you can see from description of 'how I did it"   Posted: 02/04/2017 09:59:32

Hi Barbara,I really liked the shadow and I thought that the reddish color cloth was OK in the original   Posted: 02/04/2017 14:16:37

Hi Barbara, I like your choice of BG; also putting in the shadow of the vase is brilliant. However, I was thinking it might look more natural going in the same direction of the other shadows on the flower. Good job on getting some texture in the yellow leaves, it's hard to do with yellow.   Posted: 02/14/2017 07:42:44

You have done a good part in the use of the vase shadow but I might have made it a bit dark to add that all is not floating as other mention. I like the new B/G.   Posted: 02/16/2017 15:28:47

This is well done; The new background makes the picture; The shadow that everyone mentions is in reality a reflection; Shadows are gray shades and have no detail.   Posted: 02/19/2017 11:25:55

I like this very much indeed, Barbara. It’s nicely set up and you have enhanced it greatly by changing the background and cropping the leaf to produce a very good composition.   Posted: 02/20/2017 00:31:19
