The legendary hat of the islands. Found in a shopping area that was not very exciting, but I managed to find a few cute photos.

Lisa, what a fun photograph! I'm constantly amazed at the image quality coming out of the newer iPhones. I love the repeating pattern of the hats and the slight color variations. I especially like how you chose to place them diagonally in the frame. Great image as-is...AND it is one of those images that you could have all sorts of fun playing around with. Use a vintage filter; colorize one or more of the hats; or....?   Posted: 04/04/2021 10:32:50

I am amazed at the quality of the iphones too... even when printing. I try to use the LR mobile app so that the photo is a DNG, but I don't think I did that with this one. The original photo is a lot more hats and straight up and down, but I liked the tilt and giving the impression that there are more hats in every direction. I like the idea of colorizing it, maybe use that filter that Luann used on my photo last month.

I like the diagonal line of the hats you captured in this image, and although the hats are similar but the lighting and the display make them a bit different from each other. The image is quite sharp. I'd prefer to remove the top right hat and the bottom left one since only small parts of them are visible.   Posted: 04/08/2021 15:27:22

Thank you for your great comments... The original photo is a lot more hats and straight up and down, but I liked the tilt and giving the impression that there are more hats in every direction. That's why I left the little bit of the hats on the top and bottom... to give it that feel.   Posted: 04/08/2021 17:19:17

This is a very fun photograph. I like the simplicity and pattern of it with the two brown colored hats that stand out. My only suggestion would be to take down the highlights a bit.   Posted: 04/10/2021 17:01:26

What a fun image! The slight differences in the hat position and the lines of the boards add to the design. The diagonal angle of the hats adds a lot to the creative look. I wonder if slightly more angle would be appealing.   Posted: 04/14/2021 11:42:14
