About the Image(s)

One couple tried to take the pictures of their dog posing in front of Lincoln memorial (Washington DC) when I passed bỵ. I asked them the permission to capture some pictures of his dog,
For post processing, I removed the leash and clean the background and put the dog in the frame that I took at the museum before. Canon 7D II, Tamron lens 18-400mm, ISO 1250, F/4.5, Speed 1/10.

Just visiting from another group.

What an adorable dog! You have a really nice photo of the dog and you even got catch lights in the eyes. The frame is an interesting touch. It may be my monitor but the frame looks to be a bit bright Maybe if it was darkened just a bit it would make the dog really pop from the frame since the viewer's eye is always attracted to light and bright.

May I ask why you chose this particular frame for this dog? I'm guessing that maybe because the dog is y and the frame has the baroque trimming on it, but that is just a guess. I'm interested in your thought process.

Thanks Larry for visiting our group and for your comments. The catch lights were added in post processing.
I chose this frame because the dog hair is wavy and has the brown color similar to the design and color of the frame. Also, I got the inspiration to frame the picture of the dog from the historic Blennerhassett Hotel in West VA, where I traveled there for business a few years ago.   Posted: 03/23/2020 19:08:27

What a cute dog! I like the textures of his hair and nose. I find your idea of putting the dog in the fancy frame a light hearted choice. In my opinion, the colors and swirls of fur and frame connect together.   Posted: 03/18/2020 09:52:06

Look at the puppy! He is so cute, and he does match the frame very well. Interesting composite too. nice!   Posted: 03/18/2020 10:54:24

Fun and well done. The contrast between the dog and frame is jarring. Love it.   Posted: 03/18/2020 12:03:28

Hello Kieu-Hanh,

What a cute dog and frame! You made some very unique and creative choices for your image.

The only thing I can see to recommend is to do some tidying up around the blue area; I see some of the original image peeking through and his dog tag.

Best regards,
