About the Image(s)

iPhone XSMax, May 2019, f/1.8, 4.25mm, ISO 200, single capture. I have no other shots of this building. I really liked the colors, shapes, textures, graffiti. I’m surprised sometimes that the iPhone is so good. I actually printed and framed and sold this photo during the local museum’s holiday show, which was called Word Play.

Hello Lisa,

Love this image of street photography you captured! Great colors, and contemporary art.

What type of paper did you use to print your image? And bravo to you for selling your work!

Look forward to talking with you in this group next month.

Best regards,

Thank you LuAnn! Welcome to our group.
I ordered the print from Bay Photo, I think I sold the glossy photo. Also the person that bought it was from Paris, so it probably was a sentimental choice.   Posted: 03/18/2020 10:10:40

I remember this image from an earlier submission. Congratulations for selling a copy of it. I like the contrast of the brightly colored mailboxes. Although the red and blue graffiti adds interest to the image, to me, it is sad to see its presence on a public building.   Posted: 03/18/2020 09:55:13

Oh no Ruth! Did I submit it before.... I looked at my notes, and didn't think I did. Shucks, sorry! Corona brain-fade, that's my story!

Congratulation on sell the print. The graffiti is one of the sad comments on life today.

I recognized this image you submitted last year.
Your image is a documentary photography, and it's sad to see that this French post office was vandalized with graffiti.
Congrats for selling a copy of your image!
