The composition works well in this image. I guess that the moon was added in at the post processing, and it brought more feeling to the scene. I'd prefer to capture this image a bit earlier to see more details of the trees on the left or more outdoor lightings of the property.

Well done merging of images. What I like the most is the porch lighting. The light on the foreground trees next to the house gives adds to the sense of isolation. A beautiful house sitting alone in the country at peace with the world.
The moon does help to set the mood. That is a beautiful photo of the moon and is well place.   Posted: 01/17/2020 14:01:22

For me, the moon and its placement adds to the peaceful composition of your image. The horizontal lines of the roof and porch give a calm to the scene. I like the lighting on the porch that accents the window.   Posted: 01/18/2020 09:30:33

Very nice image. I like how the grey of the moon complements the grey of the house. The geometry of the lines of the porch and the circle of the moon work well together.   Posted: 01/20/2020 11:43:43

This is moody and interesting. The light and lines are the predominant feature. The moon provides intriguing yet comforting balance. Shading / shadows in the trees is very good. It is revealing and provides texture yet is subdued allowing the primary subject to dominate. The composite is really good. The moon is nice and sharp. Way better than I can do hand held.   Posted: 01/29/2020 19:53:12
