About the Image(s)

We followed the crowd into the Taj Mahal a few years ago. Couldn't see too much but kept on snapping. Converted a bland color image to black and white.
Canon Rebel t2i, 1/60 sec, ISO 800, f/5.

Looks like you and everyone else was snapping away. I love this iconic shot and how you changed it to black and white. I feel your crop leaving only the upper half of the crowd accents the Taj well. My only suggest would be to darken the Taj just very slightly, perhaps by using the dehaze tool in Lightroom. Would love to see this in person.   Posted: 10/04/2019 17:27:45

I really like the B&W edit on this and the crop. For me the very light Taj works because it feels really ethereal. I wouldn't change anything.   Posted: 10/05/2019 13:07:42

This looks like a picture out of a Victorian-era book. I really like it in B&W and how converting it darkened it just a bit.   Posted: 10/05/2019 13:40:18

This is a gorgeous image! The black and white works really well and creating a silhouette of the people and darkening the image below that makes the Taj just pop. This image would do well in competition. You handled it in a very creative way, turning the photo into a work of art.   Posted: 10/07/2019 23:03:36

It has story with impact. The subdued tones of the Taj give it an appropriate aura, however I slightly agree with Shirley that darkening it slightly would add some texture and decrease the extreme contrast between the outlined figures and the view. The two little handles on the right edge of the view can be taken out.   Posted: 10/09/2019 10:42:58
