About the Image(s)

Taken at a car show last year, I liked the color and styling of this Austin Healey, a car which I never owned as a youth. I thought that this close-up was more interesting the the whole vehicle as displayed. And judging by the reflections on the side of the mudguard, this image is not a crop of the original. Who can remember?
Canon 70D, f/9, 1/200 sec, ISO 200.

Love this crop! The colors are just amazing. The lines and changes in reflective and non-reflective surfaces keep me looking at it. This might be great enlarged & framed.   Posted: 03/09/2019 12:32:41

I really enjoy car shows and have been fortunate enough to see several this winter season. Capturing parts of vehicles to demonstrate leading lines and color is fun to do and you have done a great job on this in the photograph. The shadows really set off the texture of the fender and create a multiple color image. Very sharp. Nice job.   Posted: 03/13/2019 11:50:37

A beautiful car, Harry. It is so difficult to get a good shot of a shiny car without getting your own reflection in it. I looked! To me your lines all converging to the back are what makes the image pop--as well as the red in contrast with the headlamp. Nice job!   Posted: 03/22/2019 15:32:29
