About the Image(s)

When I shot this image I envisioned a sort of modern art/abstract result. So that's what I was after in the processing. Maybe it's a sign that I'm going nuts or the virus has caught me. I am finding that I'm doing much less photography...this is from March. The original shows what I started with.

Nice visual capture and good work on the image to see something to come from it. Good abstract. Is there really a blue outside stroke or is that just my monitor? It would be better to be black.   Posted: 09/05/2020 18:35:37

Yes, that is a blue stroke. I wanted to use something that separated it from the black backgrounds we get. Since Sand is found by the beach, blue seemed reasonable. Perhaps a different color would work better.   Posted: 09/06/2020 06:37:59

A stoke with a shade of gray usually works for about anything.

Quite a contrast between the original and the submitted. I thought the submitted was some sort of avant-garde painting. Where is the blue stroke? My eyes must be going.   Posted: 09/09/2020 09:37:24

The image is very well done but I have to agree with Sharon, the blue stroke doesn't work for me. Because the entire background is stark white, I believe that either a solid black or maybe dark gray would work better but I find the blue somewhat deceiving and that could be my eyes.   Posted: 09/13/2020 12:10:42

You couldn't of explained it better! )

Bi-planes as my mind wrapped around the image following the click of the mouse. So a A+ on Abstract.

Curious what the occasion was?   Posted: 09/16/2020 13:16:50

Nice work seeing the abstract in a somewhat mundane setup. I like it and could see someone into abstract geometric art hanging this on a wall.   Posted: 09/17/2020 11:21:19

I like the table in the top right helping to lead the eye through the image. I would like to see the top of that table complete instead of fading out with the vignette. It does seem like there is a little tilt that could be corrected easily enough.   Posted: 09/17/2020 18:30:04
