About the Image(s)
I visited one of the Chinese temples in Singapore last Sunday where there is a lake which makes birds happy for fishing and bathing. I simply caught the pigeon in flight while I was shooting migratory common kingfisher. Camera: Sony A 9, f/ 6.3, 1/2500 s, ISO 5000, Sony G lens 200-600@489 mm.

Good capture with great light on the bird and nice sharp eye.   Posted: 12/10/2019 16:59:07

The wings are positioned well and it is well placed in the frame. The background is great. You might dodge the darker bottom portion of the bird a little to lighten it.
Too bad this wasn't the kingfisher. It would have been a little more interesting.   Posted: 12/10/2019 18:14:53

I think it's perfect in subject, lighting, background, exposure, etc. The bird's eye is compelling. It's hard to make a pigeon almost elegant but you've done it.   Posted: 12/18/2019 15:10:50

Wow. Hard to catch a bird in flight and have it so sharp with the simple background. Great wing position also. Well done.   Posted: 12/18/2019 17:47:44

Just hanging out being a bird. I like the straight up wings. Not your normal bird photo which makes it unique.   Posted: 12/21/2019 20:10:56
